Sheepherder’s Chipped Beef Dip

Baking this hot dip in the bread bowl is what makes this ordinary recipe extraordinary.
Ingredients
16 ozs. cream cheese
16 ozs. sour cream
12 ozs. chipped beef, chpped in small pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 loaf sheepherder’s bread (or substitute sourdough round)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Cut top of bread and hollow out.
Step 2
Combine remaining ingredients. Place mixture inside hollow of bread bowl. Replace top and wrap in foil. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour. Serve with bread from middle, chips or vegetables.
