Fudge

 

Who Doesn’t Love Fudge!:

For as long as I can remember, fudge has been a staple around Christmas.  And being a California native, I love my fudge full of nuts!

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup canned milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 lb. mini marshmallows
  • 1 lb. chopped Hershey bar
  • 11.5 ounce package chocolate chips
  • 2 lbs. chopped nuts (walnut, pecan or cashew)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Mix sugar, canned milk, butter and marshmallows over medium heat in heavy pan, stirring constantly for 7 minutes.  Remove from heat.  

Step 2

Add Hershey bar and chocolate chips.  Beat until well mixed.  Add nuts.  

Step 3

Pour into buttered pan.  Cut when cool.
